1. Refund & Cancellation Policy

Booking Confirmation

All bookings made through the Skkin Aura application are considered confirmed only after successful payment processing and explicit confirmation generated by the application.

No Refund Policy

All payments made through the application are final and strictly non-refundable. Once a booking has been successfully placed and payment processed, no refund (either full or partial) will be issued under any circumstances, including but not limited to:

• Change of personal preference or mind.
• Accidental or duplicate booking made by user error.
• Failure to attend the scheduled appointment or non-availability at the designated address.
• Late arrival by the customer exceeding the appointment grace period (15 minutes).
• Dissatisfaction due to subjective personal preference after service completion.

Cancellation & Rescheduling

Customers may cancel or reschedule appointments only if the assigned service provider permits such changes through the application within the allowed time window. Cancellation or rescheduling, even if allowed by the professional, does not entitle the customer to a cash refund.

Service Provider Cancellation

If a service provider or beauty specialist cancels an appointment due to emergency or unavoidable circumstances, Skkin Aura may, at its sole discretion:

• Reschedule the appointment with another elite specialist of equivalent tier; or
• Provide equivalent Skkin Aura Booking Credit to the customer's wallet for future service bookings.

Cash refunds shall only be issued where mandatory under applicable consumer protection laws of India.

Failed Transactions

If funds have been debited from your bank account or payment method but the booking was not confirmed due to a technical error, the amount will automatically be reversed by the banking provider/payment gateway within 3–7 business days, or confirmed upon manual verification by our support team.

2. Terms & Conditions

Welcome to Skkin Aura. By accessing, downloading, or using our mobile application and services, you agree to be bound by these comprehensive Terms and Conditions.

Acceptance & Eligibility

Using the application constitutes your explicit acceptance of these Terms. Users must be at least 18 years of age or access the application under the active supervision of a parent or legal guardian.

Services & Scope

Skkin Aura operates a digital marketplace platform enabling users to discover, schedule, and pay for premium beauty, hair, makeup, spa, and wellness services delivered by certified independent service professionals and salons.

Account Security

You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials, OTP access codes, and for all activities that take place under your account. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized account access.

User Conduct & Guidelines

Users strictly agree not to:

• Provide false, deceptive, or misleading registration and location information.
• Abuse, harass, intimidate, or misbehave towards assigned beauty specialists.
• Attempt unauthorized reverse engineering or digital tampering of the application.
• Engage in fraudulent bookings, chargebacks, or illicit promotional redemptions.

Service Quality & Disclaimer

Skkin Aura rigorously verifies all registered professionals; however, individual service results may vary according to skin type, hair texture, personal preferences, and client instructions provided to the stylist.

Intellectual Property Rights

All trademarks, UI designs, code, software, logos, brand names, visual assets, and content on Skkin Aura are the exclusive intellectual property of Skkin Aura Services Pvt. Ltd. and may not be copied, reproduced, or distributed without prior written consent.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted under applicable law, Skkin Aura Services Pvt. Ltd. shall not be liable for any indirect, punitive, incidental, special, or consequential damages resulting from the use or inability to use the platform.

Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising hereunder shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts located in Malda, West Bengal.

3. Privacy Policy

At Skkin Aura, protecting your personal data and privacy is our top priority. This Privacy Policy outlines how your data is collected, processed, and safeguarded.

Information We Collect

• Personal Identification Data: Full name, phone number, email address.
• Service Location Details: Delivery address for home-based beauty services.
• Transaction & Booking History: Service records, dates, amounts paid, and payment reference tokens.
• Technical Device Information: Device ID, operating system version, app usage diagnostics, and IP address.

Purpose of Collection

Your information is strictly utilized to:

• Process and confirm your beauty service bookings.
• Dispatch assigned beauty specialists to your location accurately.
• Provide real-time booking updates, SMS alerts, and invoice notifications.
• Enhance app security, prevent fraud, and comply with statutory obligations.

No Third-Party Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, trade, or share your personal information with third parties for commercial or marketing purposes. Information is disclosed exclusively to:

• The assigned beauty specialist solely for fulfilling your scheduled booking.
• PCI-DSS compliant payment gateways (e.g. Razorpay, Stripe) for secure checkout.
• Law enforcement agencies when explicitly mandated by a valid court order or statutory requirement.

Payment Data Security

All financial transactions are handled through encrypted, tier-1 payment gateway providers. Skkin Aura does not store or process debit/credit card numbers, CVVs, or online banking passwords on its servers.

User Rights

You hold full rights to request access to your stored personal data, request corrections of inaccuracies, or request full deletion of your account and associated profile records by contacting our Data Protection Officer.
